It all started on a mountain... up in the clouds above the city lights of southern California, is where Nicole caught the songwriting "bug."
"I fell in love with the way that lyrics and music danced together into one story." That mountain top is where she wrote her very first song. Since then, she has never turned back.
After her first co-writing experience, in Nashville, TN (and later playing at The Bluebird Café), her passion for pursuing music as an artist, only intensified.
She is now a self-published, independent recording artist, who crafts her songs while on the road in her pickup or out in the fields with her horses. Her music brings out both the poetry and simplicity of the country life she loves.
Nicole and the Tumbleweed band have opened for Nashville country acts such as; Jameson Rogers, Brandon Davis & Canadian country trio "The Heels". She was named Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the inaugural Midwest Talent Awards 2026, in Detroit MI.
Her debut single "Hearts First" pays tribute to her influences with a bluesy, heartfelt message and a country/rock feel. Her single has been played on Texas Radio and she has been featured on numerous podcasts sharing about her life and journey as an artist and horse trainer.
Nicole currently plays solo, duo and with her Tumbleweed Band all around Wisconsin and Illinois. Collectively we bring you a country & americana sound with a western, bluesy flair! We like to keep it original, while also bringing in the classic sounds!
Nicole also created a songwriter round event based in Southern Wisconsin/ Illinois Stateline area and hosted 11 events in 2026 - showcasing fellow artists and hosting a true "Nashville style" experience. She continues to host these at venues in the Midwest! (visit page here)
